What is Cybersecurity? Cybersecurity involves practices, technologies, and processes designed to protect digital systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access, attack, damage, or theft. This includes securing hardware, software, and data from various threats such as hacking, data breaches, and malware.

Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability (CIA Triad): These are the core principles that drive cybersecurity practices. Confidentiality ensures data is kept private, integrity guarantees data is accurate and untampered with, and availability ensures data and systems are accessible when needed.
Types of Cyber Attacks Cyber threats can come in many forms, and each type of attack has a unique method of breaching systems:

Phishing: Fraudulent attempts to acquire sensitive information (e.g., usernames, passwords) by impersonating trustworthy entities, often via email or fake websites.
