Project 3 (SQL: Data Manipulation) Description
Using the “starter database” (includes tables DEPT, EMP, BONUS, SALGRADE, CUSTOMER, ORD, ITEM, PRODUCT, PRICE — all located under User “Scott”) created during the Oracle 12c Enterprise installation, create the following queries in a single script file.
List for all employees the “employee name”, “employee number”, “job”, “manager”, “hire date”, “salary”, “commission” and “department number” ordered by “department number”
List the “employee name”, “hire date” and “salary” for all employees who are managers
List the “employee name”, “hire date” and “salary” for all employees who work for the “Sales: department
List the “manager’s name” and the “number of employees” in that manager’s department
List the “customer name”, customer id” and credit limit for all the company’s customers (order by “customer id”)
Save the script as “project3.sql” and Upload to the submission area.
Notes:
Before building the queries, use the SQLPlus “Describe” command to determine all the fields of the tables and to verify that the tables exist.
